This episode is an audio recording from Kate and Tricia’s LIVE Q&A where they talked all about MT-PC! They answer the who, what, where, when, why, how, and other listener questions about earning CMTE’s through listening to podcasts.

Do you want to earn CMTE’s for listening to podcasts?

Then you are in the right place! We’ve always wondered why we couldn’t earn CMTE’s for listening to podcast episodes. As music therapists, we are often chugging along in our car between sessions bingeing our latest favorite podcast and learning SO much in the process. So why not get the credit for it?

There are a lot of podcast episodes out there. What we do is synthesize the material into themed podcast course bundles to make it convenient for you. To learn more about how it works, click here.

Follow MT-PC on Instagram to stay up to date on our launch and offerings.

How it works:

MT-PC will have a variety of podcast courses that are theme-based like any other CMTE opportunity (Ethics, Self-Care, Trauma and MT, Private Practice, etc.) Our hope is to have a variety of podcast courses created by differed podcasters. The episodes within the podcast courses are still published for free as usual, but the podcast CMTE courses through MT-PC offer additional materials and support.

What we want to do is make this convenient for you. We select episodes that are related, combine them into a course, create a detailed workbook to help synthesize the material in the episodes, offer one live office hour, and wrap it up in a bow.

Once you have completed all of the materials in the course, you can earn the pre-approved CBMT credits and get your certificate sent directly to you!

Are you a podcast creator and want to join our platform?

Super! We are looking for podcasters who want to turn their high-quality podcast episodes into CMTE opportunities for music therapists. Your content should relate to the CBMT domains in some way and should offer educational information that music therapists can find valuable to their practice.

We’d love to talk with you more about this opportunity and give you all of the details. Please reach out to us at mtpodcastcollective@gmail.com to connect!

If you or someone you know is interested in being on the podcast, please email us at hello@musictherapychronicles.com
