Chris Millett, MM, MT-BC has been practicing as a board-certified music therapist since January 2014. He serves a variety of populations and trains budding music therapists as the Music Therapy Clinic Coordinator at the his alma mater, The University of Louisville. Chris also has a forthcoming podcast entitled Make More Music with the mission of connecting people to music and one another. He holds advanced trainings in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapy (NICU-MT) and has a wide variety of clinical experience including various pediatric and adult medical populations, adult and adolescent behavioral health, neurodevelopmental disabilities, early-childhood, and more. Chris received his Bachelors of Music (emphasis in music therapy) in 2013 from U of L, completed his internship at University of Kentucky HealthCare, served as a Fine Arts graduate teaching/clinical assistant at University of Kentucky, and received a Masters in Music Therapy at the University of Kentucky in 2015. Chris and his family recently returned to Louisville after serving as a music therapist in the greater Orlando area since 2015 at AdventHealth for Children (formerly
Florida Hospital for Children). He has presented at local, regional,
and national conferences on various music therapy topics, is published in the Journal of Music Therapy and other music therapy publications, and has self-published an e-book guide for clinical ukulele lessons. Chris enjoys being with his family, being involved with his church community, making music, and spending time with old & new friends.
